by-product is captured from the gas stream at the reactor exit.
Formic acid is totally converted into hydrogen and CO

at 25 ºC and 1 atm
Hydroformic technology is comprehensively understood at the laboratory scale demonstrating a production of 0.7 g hydrogen per day.
We are currently designing a pilot plant to scale up hydrogen production by a factor of 100.
